The AI Collective was born out of a passion for inspiring pharmacists to learn about the rapidly growing field of artificial intelligence.
We believe that specialized training isn't necessary for pharmacists to be leaders in leveraging AI to improve healthcare.
Our vision is to empower the pharmacist to be an active contributor in shaping AI and driving the future of medicine.
We are Whitley and Christy, pharmacists with a passion for digital health and innovation, and authors of the AI Education Roadmap, that you may have seen on LinkedIn, Think Digital Health, and Daily Dispense. We believe that specialized training isn't necessary for pharmacists to be change agents in influencing the use of AI in healthcare. And we believe that every pharmacist should have access to the knowledge necessary to be a voice in the field of AI. Our mission is to make AI accessible to every pharmacist. We want to provide tools and resources to empower any pharmacist in exploring AI, and to demonstrate what it might mean in their practice setting and how to become engaged/involved.
When it comes to learning about AI, we have found that it can be challenging knowing where to begin with such a vast topic. With all the articles and educational resources available online to choose from, how do you know which ones will meet your needs and which ones to invest your time in? The AI Collective is our latest creation and will feature snippets of the AI Education Roadmap, resources for the digital pharmacist enthusiast, and more to come on the way. We thank you for your support and we hope that our content will continue to be valuable to our readers! If you ever have any feedback for us, please do not hesitate to contact us.
